There is a moment in time when you realize that those in your life are measured one of two ways- those you can do life with at ease and then there are those who require courage and risk! Are you a risk taker?

Today I am being very open and honest in this post because I fervently believe in the good in people; the Spirit of God that dwells in every man-but Scripture tells us that in the heart of man there dwells no good thing. As a child I considered that to be the people that were not changed by the Spirit of God; born again. You do not expect to find "no good thing" in the heart of those who name the name of Christ as their Father, however this is something that many have experienced in the "church".

Well let me correct a wrong, EVERYONE THAT IS NOT THE TRUE CHURCH! The church of Jesus Christ is one that is mantled in the character and nature of Christ. They are sons of Almighty God. Jesus said, "when you see me you see the Father who sent me". As He is so are we in the earth!!

But are we? This is weighing heavily on my heart these days because there is an urgency in the earth to show the earth the love of it's Creator. There is an urgency to manifest love in the earth and if we do not trust those who say they are His sons then what hope does the world have.

Scripture tells us -They will know us by the love we have one for another!!! To all my friends/readers that are part of the Church of Jesus Christ we must stop marring the image of our Father to the world. My pastor said on Sunday If we cant get it right in here how can we expect to get it right out there.... How will the world know we are His sons- Scripture says they will know us by the love we have one for another!

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

How far are we from this truth- God help us be purveyors of your Love to the earth! THE WEIGHT OF GOD'S LOVE IS IN OUR HANDS!!!

Lord let us-let me lay aside every weight that so easily besets me. Let me run this race with endurance and patience. Father you give us the desires of our heart and the desires we have are placed there by you! I desire to see the hearts and minds of men changed and that they LIVE in love, peace, joy and righteousness leaning not to their own understanding, but coming to know who they are and what they were created for! It is only there that they will come to know peace-peace that passes all understanding. The Love you have for us Father cannot be measured or comprehended by our minds- It is great and everlasting.

Lord give us an experience with YOU! We need you Lord- We need your presence more than we need anything else. Lord I know you to be sovereign and an ever reigning King- one whose throne knows no end- I know you as Savior, provider, keeper, friend and Father. Lord I need to come into a greater revelation of you! I need you- I want to look into your eyes and experience the full expression of your love and desire for me and for all creation! Lord take not your presence from us!

Father, Jesus chose to manifest you to creation because it was your desire to fellowship with us and sin separated us from you- His love for you and what you loved led Him to the cross!

Lord give us that passion for you and the desires of your heart! Come and dwell with us Lord- Make us your habitation- Let us be the place where you can lay your head! HOME-Rest for Almighty God be found in your people- Come and rest among your lillies! Come rest in your garden!
