Ecclesiastes 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

As I watched my daughter worship at the home going service of her 29-year-old husband with her four children watching her and my grandchildren worship with their flags at their father's coffin Holy Spirit reminded me Praise is what WE do- it is WHO we are and He makes everything beautiful in His time!

That day I watched as my daughter stood and greeted all the people offering their condolences (400 or more people) with strength and confidence and genuine love for the people and in that moment I saw my grandmother and her sister walking down the aisle at my grandfather’s funeral with their heads held high-arms locked together- standing strong in the face of adversity. Not in black but white-not downcast but rejoicing. We worship in the face of adversity we praise through the pain!

My daughter was a picture and living example of all those who had gone before her. She displayed strength, dignity, and most of all worship and praise to the God who is sovereign!

Life through grief has been our teacher. We have learned about the sovereignty of God through those things we have suffered. He is sovereign and He makes EVERYTHING beautiful in His time!

The Garden of Eden was the greatest example of God making everything beautiful in His timing- Well this is my Garden- I am a well -watered garden and He has made it beautiful in His timing!

For several years I watched my oldest daughter suffer in pain from the grief of losing so many loved ones at a young age. I watched as she lived in an abusive relationship-pregnant, scared, unsure of life-not knowing what to do next begin to send her tithes to a church she did not even attend anymore because she had to find a way to worship through the pain and find her way back to Father's house. Now she and my grandson worship with me and she is FREE!

I watched my son suffer through major back surgery at 14 that left him with permanent drop foot and considered to be disabled. He was unable to run, play sports and living in pain yet daily He praised God through the pain-even through His tears I would hear him cry out to God! I watched his process take him from wanting to accomplish “his dreams” to making the dreams of others come to pass. I now watch him daily live a life of service to his family and to others.

Daily I watch my youngest daughter push through the stereotype of being a millennial and live a life that is sold out to being pleasing and surrendered to God. She chose being developed and discipled in the things of God over living a life that’s purpose was about self- gain. Her life is worship! All she does is worship unto her heavenly Father!

We are a family of worshippers!

On the night my son in law passed away my daughter came home from the hospital without her husband and was faced with having to tell her children their father, their daddy, was not coming home- I listened to her as she pulled my two oldest granddaughters to her bosom and as they wept she told them that even though they prayed and believed God would bring Daddy home and He is now in heaven they have to continue to trust God and know that He always knows what's best for us even if we do not understand.

It overwhelms my heart that He is still making it ALL beautiful- I stand in awe of Him daily! We will always come out as pure gold!!!
