It has been several months since I have written in my blog, so as you can imagine a lot has happened in my journey during this time. I will not go into all that has occurred, however, I do want to share the outcome of what these tests and trials have produced.
Jeremiah 17: 7-8
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.
For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
2018 and early 2019 brought many challenges and victories within my family. There were moments that I did not think I could stand under the pressures that were resting on my shoulders. There were times I found it difficult to see and to focus on the vision and the plan of God for us, but I am thankful that the Holy Spirit is here and He is a comforter and our guide through life! He never leaves us or forsakes us. His still quiet voice is always present.
Over 20 years ago God brought my children and me to New Castle. When I obeyed His leading and came, His Spirit spoke and said: "in this place, He has established us and made us as the trees planted by the rivers; our roots would go deep in this place and He would establish us here". On this journey, many times it did not look like this would ever come to pass. There were times I wanted to pull up the "tree" and run, but I stood. My children, with their education, family connections and abilities could have settled anywhere in the world, but they all have chosen to make New Castle their home. God brought us here for a purpose and plan. This is what we keep before one another when the road gets rough!
During the last 9 months, I have stood on this truth and the word God sent through Dr. William Hinn at the end of 2018 for my family! Although circumstances came, I remained confident God's word will not return to Him void and it will accomplish everything it is sent out to accomplish.
Psalm 20:7-8
Some boast in chariots and some in horses, But we will boast in the name of the LORD, our God. They have bowed down and fallen, But we have risen and stood upright.
As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord! I encourage you, do not bow to the circumstances of life- those you created and those that were thrust upon you! There is a purpose and plan God has for your life! I am here to tell you, it is not always easy, but if you hold fast to the word of God over your life, when the winds blow and the rain falls you will not break, but the seed in you will grow and become a mighty tree whose roots go deep!
And if you do not have a word that has been audibly spoken over you for you and your family search the scriptures. It is written of you. If you are a child of God then He is alive in you and you have His grace upon you to carry His nature, which means what is written of God's sons in the Bible is written of you! Those promises belong to you.
You are loved, you are desired and you are wanted- When my children were young and my walk with God was pretty much non-existent- I only knew what I had been taught in Sunday School and Jr Church, I raised them with this one truth "Jesus Loves You more than I or anyone else ever could" See I knew I would at times fail them but I also knew Jesus never would.
So I say to you- Jesus Loves You! If you don't have anything else to stand on during life's ups and downs remind yourself daily Jesus Loves ME!!
This is why I share this blog- I want everyone reading it to be encouraged- we are ALL in this together! My faith in God and His unfailing Love for me gives me the strength to endure LIFE and that is what I desire for others to experience and know -JESUS LOVES YOU and HE IS WITH YOU!
I look forward to you all sharing your journey and messages of faith in action with me!! Until next time, Enjoy the JOURNEY!!!!
